Improved education can reduce insecurity- Emir of Ilorin

Alhaji Ibrahim Sulu-Gambari conducted the prayer for 85 professors who are indigenes of Ilorin Emirate in Kwara state

Government at all levels have been urged to pay more attention to the provision of education for the youths to reduce security challenges in the country.

The Emir of Ilorin, Alhaji Ibrahim Sulu-Gambari made the call while speaking during a prayer he Organised for Professors of Ilorin origin held at his palace in Ilorin, the Kwara state capital.

According to him, it was only through the provision of quality education that the security challenges being experienced can be reduced to the minimum.

Alhaji Ibrahim Sulu-Gambari urged those who have attained the position of professorship to support government effort to provide genuine mentorship for the youths.

He advised all the professors from Ilorin Emirate to shun rivalry and work as a team in ensuring educational development in the state and the country in general.
