Keeping Up with the Kardashians star Kim Kardashian West was glued to the TV on Thursday night, live-tweeting her reality show followed by ABC’s Disney Family Singalong.
The 39-year-old SKIMS CEO – who boasts 262.1M social media followers – was particularly enamored of a certain R&B diva, gushing: ‘Beyoncé sounds so beautiful!’
Beyoncé Knowles-Carter was the surprise performer and she sang a whispery, moving rendition of the Pinocchio lullaby, When You Wish Upon a Star, written by Leigh Harline and Ned Washington in 1940.
The 37-year-old Destiny’s Child alum wore classic hoop earrings with her curly updo and she appeared to have used a flattering Instagram filter for her virtual selfie concert.
‘I’d like to dedicate this song to all of the health care workers who have been working tirelessly to keep us healthy and safe. We greatly appreciate you,’ Queen Bey said.
‘Please hold onto your families tight. Be safe, don’t give up. We’re going to get through this, I promise. God bless you.’
Beyoncé added that she was ‘very proud and honored to be a part of the Disney family’ thanks to her role voicing Nala in Jon Favreau’s 2019 reboot of The Lion King, which amassed $1.657B despite dismal reviews.
Kim and the 24-time Grammy winner have been plagued with rumors they aren’t friends ever since Knowles-Carter declined invites to both Kardashian’s 2013 baby shower and 2014 wedding to Kanye West.
