Sacked workers with the Adamawa State Government have staged a protest on Monday demanding the state government to pay them ten months salary.
According to the spokesman of the sacked workers, Mr Faisal Baba, this was in view of the fact that their sacking did not follow due process.
Mr. Baba, who expressed displeasure of the failure of the present administration to pay them their ten months salary, accused the state Governor, of injustice to them.
The Spokesman described Governor Fintiri as inhuman, adding that the Governor, therefore, has no feelings towards them and their dependents.
He said the sacked workers will take the government before the industrial court to seek for their rights.
Responding, the State Head of the Civil Service, Dr Edgar Amos reiterated that those workers employed after 27th September 2018, their appointment seized to be considered, but those employed before September 2018, their appointment was considered.
On the issue of those on transfer of service to the State Polytechnic, they were referred back to their establishment.
He said 10,000 workers dismissed as claimed by the protesters, it is not true.
